Sometimes I feel like I’m into Odyssey and Sunday! a little too much. I think it mostly has to do with the people that work there. All the guys who work at Odyssey (and actually most companies) are real good dudes. Here are a few photos of what they got going on…
It was some what a surprise to me this year. I’ve always expected like 5 or 6 new crazy things, but this year is a little different. They really have focused on getting new colorways for their existing products going, which isn’t a horrible thing at all. It’s safe to say that they should finally have the small minor issues with the JC/PC’s figured out, no word on the G-Coaster though. I’ll talk to George later and figure out what’s going on there. Here are a few photos between the two booths. Oh, random though. Jim C is moving to Austin, Texas to move Sunday in with the new Odyssey office (they will now have two locations – Cali and Texas).
Every year Odyssey has a crazy contraption to play around with. This year it’s a triple stack bike. I already promised Nuno I wouldn’t ride it in fear of me being “that guy” who plows into somebody’s booth and killing multiple people, and my future in the BMX Biz…
I took a ton of photos for some reason. I was telling myself all morning that I would stick to 5 or so photos per booth to keep things moving. However, if you look closely you can see a few new colorways for parts. The new goodie is the seat post you can see above. It’s a post that works pivotal, or with rails. Super hybrid.
Aaron Ross’ new colorway. Those little black dots are ants. It’s going with a watermelon theme this time around.
Some of the new frames. The black one is the Wave 3. Removable mounts and all of that good stuff.
Sunday will be doing complete’s for 2010. They look to be spec’d real solid. All the completes from all the companies are looking real good this year. I’m almost bummed I didn’t have a chance at these 10 years ago when I got into BMX…..
