Interbike 2010: Fly Bikes

I wandered over to the Fly Bikes booth to take a peek at what David had going on. They have unveiled quite a bit of new stuff for this year the past few weeks so I was psyched to see it all. Take a peek!

Some of the new colors for the frames.

Fly have updated their new removable brake mount system. This addresses the problem that I’ve been having with my Lago frame that I’ve been riding the past few weeks. They have angled the mount bolt so it puts pressure on the mount to reduce the wobble and brake arm rub that has been occuring with the straight side screw. They have also applied this to your cable guides which is rad because it makes is so you can remove the mount without having to unscrew and remove the cable. Psyched about this.

Fly have updated the butting and beefed up the pedal boss on their 2 piece cranks where they have had some issues with breaking.

I personally picked up the new cable hanger design and brake pads that Fly is offering. I really like the concept and the braking is effective.

Just a look at each of the frames built up with Fly parts. These bikes look dialed as hell. Not completes…

That wraps up the Fly Bikes booth. If you have any questions let me know in the comments and I’ll try and get them answered!
