Ah, I finally got Ronnie Bonner when he wasn’t swamped with people to take me through the The Shadow Conspiracy line. So let’s take a look…
A few weeks back Ronnie emailed me asking for my shoe size and I was confused. I had no idea, I was trying to figure out who he was going to be distributing or what he was starting. My mind was finally set straight when I came across the Vans X Shadow collaboration. Mid, low, hat, grips? Looks good to me!
New one piece seats, new pan. I’m psyched on the wider padded one.
New hub. They spent a ton of time on getting it just right. Featuring a true 14mm design.
I’ve been getting some requests about this freecoaster. It’s not done, it’s not going to be out for quite a while. I assure you the wait will be worth it for you backwards cruisers.
The new front load stem.
New pedals. I forgot what they are made out of but they aren’t plastic. Yeah, that just happened.
The new cranks that Shadow has coming out. 16 spline, pedal bosses. The raw is just to show what it looks like before paint. I don’t think there will be the raw option but it should be because it looks sick.
Color walled tires. These won’t all come out at the same time, and it sounds like the team will vote on which ones come out and when. So expect these to pop up over the course of the next year.
New bag with some updates. They put a lot of detail in like the coffin zippers.
These pegs are rad. Basically, they are a sleeve that fit over your pegs so you can ride at parks that require plastic pegs, slide aluminum rails, and then take it off for when you want to rip some rougher shit.
So that’s pretty much all of the newness at The Shadow Conspiracy. They also have a ton of new shirt designs coming out too. There was a flip book they had on their site a few weeks back if I remember right.
