Interbike 2011: Profile / Madera

I made my way over to the Profile and Madera booth to see what Matt Coplon had going on. Between the two brands, they have been busy working on a ton of new product that either appeared already, or soon to be released. Let’s take a look…

All right, so here’s the deal. Most of the product they had on display has either been around for a while or recently released. Which means you may or may not have seen it. For example, the ti bolts on the cranks or the Aegis hub guard…

See those cranks? Yeah, they are mountain bike cranks… No, they aren’t painted gold. Those are 24 karat gold cranks. Yeah, that’s wild. No, they won’t be going into production. I can’t even begin to imagine how much they cost or weigh, haha. Still pretty cool.

All right, so here’s the situation. Profile or Madera didn’t have really anything brand spanking new to check out, but it sounds like they’ve got a ton of new stuff that will start popping up in the next month. Things like a new hub guard for the driver side (it won’t be out for a bit) would be one of the items. Matt was still pretty tight about what else is coming along, so just expect a good dump of newness around December. Get psyched!

Any questions for Profile or Madera? Leave it in the comments and I’ll try and get you an answer.
