Tree have had a real interesting year with moving the rest of their product line over to Taiwan and just getting things to run more efficiently. Tree has a real interesting future ahead with Sam being able to focus way more on the products and from what I’ve heard, it all sounds good. Let’s take a look…
All right, so here’s an interesting new bit that Sam has been taking on. Three different groups of products for the different needs/levels of riders. The brown line is a basically lower cost line with less bells and whistles that correlates to a more affordable product for you. The blue line features products with a little more detail, extra machining, etc with a middle range price and then the green line that will have the extra bells and whistles, more detail, higher quality materials, etc. As of right now they have it set up for their sprocket line (which in reality, all look damn good and high quality) but want to expand it to their hubs and frames. This is just starting to get rolling so I’m sure you will be hearing more soon.
A mix of all the lines for their sprockets. Plenty of options.
Sit down!
Bars
The Collet stem to hold those bars down. Such a crazy design.
The ever loved Tree hub with their unique design.
Steel, aluminum and flatland pegs. Those green ones I’m holding are the flatland pegs and they are sooo light. I’m not too in depth with the flatland crew, but I guess they are super popular in that group. No surprise.
Top cap!
Well, that’s the Tree booth. They’ve got plenty of real good ideas that are cooking and will slowly be making their appearance in the next year or two I’m sure. I’m psyched to see where things go now that they are getting more organized and Sam has more time to focus on designing products again. Expect good things.
Any questions? Leave them in the comments and I’ll see what I can come up for an answer for you.
