Next up is one that I usually need to mentally prepare for each year. The guys at Wethepeople and Eclat have such an extensive line of products between the amazing Wethepeople completes, to all of the frames and parts to all of Eclat’s parts. Needless to say, it’s A LOT to take in. Make the jump to get a look at what they have for new product this year along with a few samples that may or may not make it past R&D in the future.
12″ bikes that are completely spec’d to size with matching cranks, wheels, fork, integrated headset and pegs. Talk about a dialed bike.
16″ and 18″ bikes
Wethepeople have been notorious for having one of the most extensive lines of complete bikes in BMX for quite a while and every year the bikes just keep getting better and better. They have everything covered from the like 12″ bikes all the way through every level of complete from entry level to the pro level bike that is decked out with Eclat and Salt Plus aftermarket parts. Needless to say there’s not enough time to fully talk about each bike, but if you want to look closer look, check out their full 2015 catalog right here.
Wethepeople’s freecoaster. It uses the KHE style internals, but they have altered the spindle with these ball bearings to help keep the driver tight and in place to help reduce bearing blow outs.
Supreme front and rear hubs.
Seats on seats. Tripod and Pivotal options available.
After a lot of requests, Wethepeople have a 10″ bar in the works.
The entire Wethepeople bar line ranges between 8.7″ and 9.25″ rise. They also have a new 4-piece bar in the works and the Utopia (green flatland bar) as well.
The new Dan Foley’s signature Cadence frame.
Pete Sawyer’s new Sterling signature frame.
Didn’t sound like there were any major changes to the rest of the WTP frame line up. The Irish, Utopia, Clash, Cream and Scorpio.
Wethepeople have an extensive fork line up! Sterling, Patron, Cream, Scorpio, Envy and Utopia.
Parts on parts.
The elusive Blind hub from Eclat that people have been anticipating for a while is ready to go. Here’s a look at the internals! This hub is right and left side drive convertable, freecoaster and cassette convertable. Talk about the total package. It’s also available with a matching front hub as well.
Stevie Churchill signature fork from Eclat. This will be available in 32mm and 26mm offset versions.
Grips on grips.
10″ rise Dive bars.
Stems on stems. They have something for everyone.
Hub guards.
Onyx and Maverick cranks
Full guard sprocket in the works.
Kolibri hubs.
Dynamic hubs.
Pulse hubs.
Tires on tires. How crazy are those sample colors for the Stevie Churchill Fireball tire?
Some samples of some seat pans they’re working on for the Pivotal and Tripod bases. Definitely a beefier design that we will see slimmed down before it actually comes out.
They’re also giving Kink’s Stealth design a go.
Interesting pedal design. Metal pins on one side and plastic on the other. These will come in sealed and unsealed versions.
Here’s a sample of a pedal that is designed for strength. Plastic body, metal pins, oversized spindle and bushings instead of bearings. Definitely for the people who blow through plastic pedals all the time.
Gotta love how far things have come for stems. Such a clean design.
