Introducing RADshare

Here’s some rad news that popped up in the inbox this morning. Steve Crandall and a few friends have launched a new non-profit organization called RADshare that is designed to promote BMX to the kids out there with free helmets and bikes, along with education on cool things like ramp building, DIY t-shirt making and more. This is just getting the wheels turning, but it sounds like an awesome project that could benefit a ton of kids who might not ever get the chance to ride BMX or learn some unique skills. This organization, led by a community of creative leaders, seeks to close the opportunity gap through mentoring and exposure to the arts of fun and action-sports culture. It raises awareness for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) through a combination of better education, advocacy, and equipment, focusing on serving riders with less access to resources.
