iPhone 8 Camera Test at the Skatepark with Brant Moore

September 25, 2017

Thinking about picking up a new iPhone 8? Here’s a few videos Brant Moore just sent over from a few iPhone 8 Camera Tests he did at the Wooster Skatepark putting the new phone to the test. The iPhone 8 promises much higher video and audio quality than the iPhone 7. The first video is a basic 4K 60 FPS test without a tripod, then you can find a slow-motion test that shows how the 1080p at 240 frames per seconds looks and then finally a 4K 60FPS test with a tripod and color correction. Can it deliver? Watch the video and find out…

Brant filmed the video in 4K at 60 frames per second, so you can really jack the quality up on this one (if your monitor or phone can handle it). This is a pretty short but sweet test, but it looks like the the filming quality is better than ever (as expected). One thing we did notice is that that audio is really crispy as well. It really picks up on what the camera is focused on, so whenever Brant’s peg hits coping, you definitely know it happened. Film and audio quality were two big points when Apple debut their new iPhone 8 and iPhone X, so that was definitely expected when we hit play on this one. If you’re thinking about picking up a phone, this iPhone 8 camera test might just push you over the edge if you were on the fence. Take a look!

“The iPhone 8 records 4K at 60 FPS or Frames Per Second!!!
This is amazing for a phone so I had to get my hands on one to try it out.
What do you think?

Are you thinking about picking up an iPhone 8 or an iPhone X? What are some of the reasons you might be making the move? Do you plan on firing up a Youtube channel or just hoping to improve the Instagram photos and videos? It’s pretty crazy how far technology has come in the past decade… The video quality is absolutely mind blowing if you consider what video content that was online looked like even five years ago versus today. What a time to be alive, right?
