It’s not everyday we get to see something from the crew in Greece, but when we do it’s usually always something good. We recently caught up with Federal‘s connect over there, Jason Eustathiou, to take a closer look at his current setup. We also tossed in a few extra questions to get to know the guy a little better. How long have you been riding this bike for?
I have been riding the frame for 9 months and keep refreshing the parts
Do you have any particular ways your bike needs to be setup or it all feels wrong? Bars in a certain spot or anything like that?
Nope…my setup feels perfect.
Do you change your setup much or are you pretty consistent with how it is?
I experiment with the bars height lately because it feels more confortable for barspins.
How are things going with Federal these days? Do you have anything as far as trips, videos or anything like that in the works with them?
Things with Federal are going awesome. I’ve just returned from a Barcelona trip so I don’t really know their future plans.
What’s new with Primo? Anything exciting you are looking forward to this year with them?
Things with Primo are going well this year. I like their stuff and i can’t wait for their new parts! Plus they are fully supportive of the team!
How about Lotek? Can we expect anything from you and them anytime soon?
I like Lotek a lot because it’s a pure BMX brand. I’m waiting for their new shoes that look dope and I’m planning to start working on an edit for them.
You recently spent some time in Barcelona with the Federal team. Do you have any other travel plans for the summer you are looking forward to? Anywhere in particular you really want to go but haven’t had the chance?
Yeah, the Federal BCN trip was so amazing and I had a blast with all the guys. I have some plans for the summer to hit Barca again with some friends and for sure a distro tour. This year I really wanted to go to Simple Session but I didnt make it.
Have you been filming much? When can we expect a new edit out of you? Any video parts in the works?
I have been riding a lot but not really filming… Now that the weather is getting better we will start filming for sure, so expect some new lines coming soon!
Where have you been getting most of your riding time in these days? Any spots you have been really stoked on?
Winter can stress anyone out especially if you ride mostly street… I am lucky enough to study in Thessaloniki which has the only indoor park in Greece. I go there when it’s raining or it’s cold… although most of the time I just ride around the city hunting for new spots!
How is the scene in Greece these days? Seems like we’ve been seeing more and more from the place lately.
The Greek scene is getting better and better. New blood is evolving and it’s nice to see progression… I believe if we had more parks around things would be progressing faster and it would get people more motivated to ride!
What have you been getting into when you aren’t on your bike? Chilling with my dudes, listening music, drawing and I eat a lot!!
What’s the last song you heard, movie you watched and website you visited?
Curren$y – Pilot Talk/ Sin City / thecomeup.com
Are you on Instagram, Twitter and all that other social media stuff? How can people keep up with you these days?
My instagram is @jasoneustathiou and obviously I got a facebook account!! Since my iPhone got stolen and the crisis is big time around here you can also keep up with me with smoke signals!
Do you have any shout outs or thanks?
