Jeremie Infelise Bike Check

Jeremie is one of the lucky guys who not only gets to ride for Hoffman, but he also works at Sidewall. This means that his bike is pretty much always dialed. I figured with some of the freshness coming from Hoffman and parting ways with his long time sponsor, Snafu, that it would be a good time to check out what Jeremie is running these days and to see what else is new with him. Do you have any custom mods on your bike?
I made some adjustments to a driver guard I have. I also rub my new grips in dirt and take sand paper to them. Doing that helps to break them in.

What’s your favorite part of your bike? The new Hoffman line is looking dialed.
Thanks! Everything. The new fork offset is pretty nice and Seth’s Noctis cranks feel really good.

What do you usually go through the most on your bike?
Spokes and rims

What’s the oldest part on your bike?
Pegs, the Hoffman 36D pegs last a good while.

Do you change your setup much or are you pretty much set on what you have now days?
This year I tried a tad smaller top tube size and have been playing around with a coaster. Other than that I try and keep the same.

How are things going with Hoffman these days? Do you guys have any more trips planned for the on coming warm months? Seems like you guys have been hitting the road a bunch.
Things with Hoffman are going really good. We just got back from a trip to Kansas City, which was really rad. I’m sure we will do some smaller stuff over the winter months to get a rider or two into some warm weather. We definitely have some cool stuff in the works for next year. Just trying to keep everyone psyched on Hoffman, fans/riders and keep things fresh.

You recently parted ways with long time sponsor, Snafu. What brought on the decision to try a different route? Do you have anything lined up you can tell us about, or are you just doing the single thing for a bit?
Something came up and I felt good about taking a chance with something new. With what I have lined up seems in more my direction these days and can’t wait to start pushing it.

Any guesses as to who his new sponsor might be? Let’s hear your guesses in the comments.

How are things going with the Crux Division? You have been in charge of that whole grass roots program for Sidewall, right? Do you have anything you guys are cooking up at all?
Yes, Crux Division is my thing and it’s going awesome. Have some cool dudes on for sure which I’m stoked I can help out. A few of the dudes are working on some edits at the moment. I’m also looking to add some more recruits for next year since a few of them have been promoted with flow deals.

Where have you been getting your sessions in these days?
I have been trying to ride a lot of street lately. The weather has been awesome so it’s good to be cruising out side, ya know?

Have you been filming at all? When can we expect to see some fresh footage of you?
I am currently filming an intro edit for my new deal, should be done in a month if all goes well. The Hoffman KC edit will be out in a few weeks along with an article in Ride UK that I got a few photos I’m really psyched on. Thanks, Walter!

What are you usually up to when you aren’t riding or working these days?
Editing videos, trying to take photos, eating food, spending time with the girl friend on the weekends.

What’s something about yourself that might surprise people?
I’m originally from Nor-Cal, which as I’m typing this I’m chillin’ in my hotel room in San Fran on a little vacation with my girl and some friends. Sourdough bread and Salt Water Taffy! I’m also kind of addicted to Instagram @infelise

Do you have anything else you want to say?
Thanks to everyone stoked on what we are doing at Hoffman Bikes, we have some new parts in the works for next year. Everything fresh. Also thanks to Zack and Rob at Alienation for the hub and rims when I need them and Will and Crew at Duo for the tires and pedals, new stunner lo tire is sick.
