Jibs ‘N Salsa 3 – Midnight Snacks

You know it’s going to be a good Friday when Andy Maguire drops a new Jibs ‘N Salsa in the inbox! Check out a bunch of clips that were filmed during the night sessions that him and a few friends got in this winter!

On the regular, BMXers are out there challenging the every day molds of society. Just about every participant shows the average bystander what the possibilities on a bike can be, from a feeble stall on an over sized curb to a Mr. Dinner on the mega ramp. Outside the realm of “radical tricks,” many BMXers challenge the excuses people create to stay off a bike. “I have a job,” “It’s raining,” “It gets dark at 5,”; we’ve all heard these reasons, but sometimes you have to satisfy the urge no matter what. This winter, the weather conditions obviously weren’t stacked against me, made apparent by shorts and a t-shirt in many of these clips. But sometimes finding the motivation to get out there can be a challenge far greater than weather, responsibilities, lack of people to ride with, etc. I’m greatly looking forward to daylight savings, but I’m happy to know that I was able to get out, jib around, and even film some stuff during one of the least motivating times of the year. Big thanks to Reed and Greg for coming out with me, helping film, and even getting a few clips themselves.
