Madison, Wisc. – May 23, 2013 – Mongoose is thrilled to announce BMXer Kevin Peraza as the newest member of the Mongoose professional team. Peraza will be joining a world-class team of BMX riders representing Mongoose, including Steve McCann, Ben Wallace, Cam White, Jack Fahey, Paul Ryan and Greg Illingworth.
“I’m super excited to be riding for a brand with such deep rooted heritage in BMX,” says
Peraza.

“He always looks like he is having fun on his bike and his passion for BMX shows through in every aspect of his riding. We know Kevin has an amazing future ahead of him and we look forward to helping him achieve his dreams.”
Hailing from Tucson, Ariz., Peraza was born into a Spanish speaking family with BMX in their blood. At 3 years old, he began riding his bike alongside his brother David. He got an early start racing BMX at the age of 5 and at 10 he transitioned into freestyle events. By 13 he had begun competing at a professional level. At 19 years old, Peraza has become one of the best BMX riders in the world.“
