Lux BMX caught up with Boyd to talk about his injury, working on his Odyssey “Locked Down Unda” video, answering some questions from the fans on Instagram an more. “Boyd Hilder is a name to be reckoned with in the BMX world and the past few years have really shown us that. From winning a NORA cup to having his own signature frame with Federal, Boyd has been doing all the right things to cement his name in the BMX history books.
His newest video project put together by notorious Brisbane BMX filmer and Lux team legend Troy Charlesworth made waves around the world and for good reason. From big street moves to tech park lines, Boyd has all bases covered!
Late last year Boyd had a crash at Kuraby skatepark in Brisbane that did some damage to his knee and has put him on the couch for some time. Boyd isn’t one to sit still and has been doing the most for his recovery and keeping himself busy. From gardening to Netflix Boyd has been recovering and putting the work in to get back on his bike as soon and as strong as possible.
I recently went and caught up with Boyd to see what he had been up to, his day today and what’s on in his near future. He answers some of your questions and hints to another jam he wants to put on early this year! You don’t want to miss this!
