“Another #mh_riding_journals today. This Is a show I did in Santiago Chile March this year with a stacked crew. I didn’t get much show footage. i was jet lagged and I woke up in the dressing room about 15 minutes before the show with a cramped up neck and back, so I was little out of it. Plus I couldn’t get the rhythm of the ramp. I kept missing my pump and took a couple slams. After the show Tony told me it had two feet more flat then our ramps. Eureka. It was still great to be back in Chile after 14 yrs. the crowd was amazing, like always. Insta_cameos by a couple of my all time favorite people. @tonyhawk @staabpirate1”
“Today’s #mh_riding_journals I was in Europe for 3 weeks in July, organizing the x games in Munich, then I took a vacation with my family to Italy. The airlines lost all of our bags. We got most back a week later but my paraglider and bicycle. My family went home and I stopped by Cologne Germany, on the way back, to check out the bmx worlds. My bike and Paraglider magically caught up to me there, 17 days later! So I’d sneak onto the vert ramp and ride before anyone got there. when riders would show up it was a nice jam session. Then I got peer pressures into riding the comp. haha. I hadn’t riding a vert contest in 13 yrs. but it was such a rad core group of riders and spectators I couldn’t say no. So here’s 15 sec of that…”
“Today’s #mh_riding_journals Is from a #backyardsess earlier this year in the winter month. I got a call from and old friend, “the Beave”, aka Chris Hultner. We shot pictures together around the world in the 80’s when he worked for hi torque, BMXPlus magazine. He moved to my town in Oklahoma and started an online community magazine and a family. We got back in contact through these social networks and arranged a nostalgic photo shoot solo sess at my house at sunset, in honor of John Ker. #sunsetsess”
“Today’s #mh_riding_journals Thunder Up. I got a call from Fuzzy. He was driving a rig to Oklahoma to do a pre show for the thunder game. I was in town and he was about to invade it with Mike Hucker Clark, Rob Wise, and Dennis Enarson. It just got serious. The show was a smooth flow of awesome then Hucker face planted the landing, never taking his hands off the grips. KO then he jumped up, ran from the pain and did a bar ride to the hospital for some stitches. I scammed some free tickets through connections and watched the game and met up with with them to flow some big tranny the next day. Hucker proved that natural flow is universal and owned it first wall and blasted the sweetness. then scared the crap out of me with a 8 ft flair eject to flat. Of course he jumped up and nailed it next run. It was BMX thick and thin. Here’s a blink: insta_cameo @mikehucker”
