The Mongoose Jam is going down at Woodward East in just about two weeks now and today they announced the teams that their riders have picked for the weekend. Check out the full details and see what the teams are going to be below!

“Madison, Wisc. – July 23, 2014 – Mongoose, a brand of Dorel Industries (TSX: DII.B, DII.A), today announced the official roster for the 2014 Mongoose Jam set to kick off on August 6th through August 8th at Camp Woodward in Woodward, Pennsylvania. Twenty-five pros and five amateurs will compete over a three-day period pushing the boundaries of the sport of BMX with an authentic blend of camaraderie, riding and, of course, fun.

Mongoose pros Greg Illingworth, Steve McCann, Kevin Peraza, Paul Ryan, and Ben Wallace have each chosen four pros to join their teams. One lucky Woodward camper will also be drafted to each team during the Amateur Selection Session, the first event of this year’s Jam.

Full teams for the 2014 Mongoose Jam are as follows:

Ben Wallace
Dennis Enarson
TJ Ellis
Tyler Fernengel
Alex Coleborne

Greg Illingworth
Mike “Hucker” Clark
Ronnie Napolitan

David Peraza
Kenneth Tencio

Paul Ryan
Drew Bezanson
Ben Lewis
Pete Sawyer

The Mongoose Jam consists of individual Dirt, Street and Park contests. All Mongoose Jam riders are invited to compete in each event. However, each team’s top two scores from each event will be the only scores to count toward their team’s overall placing. The team with the highest cumulative points after the last contest will be crowned the 2014 Mongoose Jam champions and take home the largest chunk of the $50,000 prize purse. Teams will earn points according to their placement in each contest. An overall Mongoose Jam first place team will be crowned after the last event.

Fans can check out daily photos and videos on Mongoose.com/Jam as well as follow the brand on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter stay up-to-date on news surrounding the contest.”
