It was announced a little while back that Mutiny Bikes are working on a re-issue of Randy Taylor’s signature Loosefer frame that will have full proceeds going to Suicide Awareness in remembrance of Randy. Today, they have placed a prototype 21″ top tube length sample up for Auction on eBay for one lucky person to win with the proceeds also going to charity! The Loosefer re-issue frame is made from full 4130 chromoly with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 8.95″ seat tube height, 11.6″ bottom bracket height and a 13″ – 13.5″ chain stay length on the 20.666″ and 21″ top tube lengths and a 13.4″ – 14″ chain stay length of the 21.25″ version. The frame features gussets on the top and down tubes, plain gauge tubing on the top and down tube, an elliptical shaped down tube to help resist denting, removable brake mounts, a wide rear end to fit 2.40″ tires and an integrated seat post clamp.
