Nick Castillo Edit – More BMX Videos
“Nick Castillo is one hell of a guy, not only does he rip on his bike, but he’s also a world champion Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter. When he’s not shredding he’s teaching and training, which is pretty amazing how he does both.
Unfortunately, not too long ago Nick and I went for a morning session at the Santa Barbara Skatepark and Nick had a pretty terrible accident. Nick was riding the bowl, and a skater not paying any attention dropped in on him when he was cruising probably around 20 mph. Long story short, Nick hit his head on the pavement pretty hard, got knocked out and went into a seizure. I’ve seen some pretty brutal crashes before but this one was by far was the worst.
Nick’s doing good now, but is off his bike for quite some time. It’s just crazy and a reminder that anything can happen at any moment, show him some love and wish him a speedy recovery!
