DC Take Over Jam

We don’t see a ton of footage coming out of the Washington D.C. area, but it apparently has a thriving BMX scene based off this video from a street jam that went down there recently. Watch as the crew spends some time hitting up different street spots throughout the city! There’s some heavy clips mixed through out this whole video so make sure you take it all in! That guy tossing superman’s on everything is awesome, haha.

Kurt Yaeger Talks Quarry

Although Kurt Yaegar doesn’t talk much about BMX in the interview, he does have a new one up on a site called Mr. Rumsey where he talks about his new role in a show called Quarry. It’s pretty interesting to learn a little bit about what his life is like outside of BMX and in the acting world. Still awesome that he’s so involved with BMX with being so busy. Stoked on that.

Villa Road – Woodyard Test Day 2015

The Villa Road crew are quickly becoming one of our favorites and it’s because videos like this! The crew recently put in some work at the Woodyard Trails to get some new lines going, and this video gives us a little look at how the testing went. Hit play to see for yourself just what they have cooked up and how well things were running. Needless to say, the Woodyard is a personal favorite of ours because how amazing the place is built. We love how clean and dialed the place looks.

The U-Slick tire features a low-profile, but grippy tread with a “U” design to help give more grip on turning and smooth sidewalls to help with grinding on ledges and rails. The U-Slick tire has a 110 max PSI rating, comes in sizes of 2.20″ and 2.35″ with color options of black, grey and white with black sidewall and a weight of 22.50 oz. (2.20″) or 22.85 oz. (2.35″)

Cult Adds System Cycle, Drops Animal & Greenhouse

Here’s a little bit of BMX news for your day. It looks like Cult have made some changes to their United States distribution list. Prior to this, they had Tip Plus on the west coast, Greenhouse in the Midwest and Animal Bikes on the East Coast. It looks like Cult have decided to change things up and part ways with Greenhouse and Animal Bikes to work with System Cycle in Ohio. So, if you’re a BMX shop in the United States looking to get Cult product, those are the guys to talk to now.

Product: Stranger – Ballast Fork

Everything about this from the riding the filming and editing is so on point. It’s not focused on the crazy, most difficult tricks or lines, but more of a simplistic day of cruising some chill spots. Yesterday was the finals for BMX Pro Park at NASS 2015 and needless to say, there was nothing short of insane riding going on with some of the top BMX riders from around the world going to work on the course!
