Brad Simms’ “Until The Wheels Fall Off” Tour GoFundMe
Here’s some news we didn’t come across until today… Brad Simms has set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise $40,000 to do a 30,000 mile trip through 18 countries in 8 months. The plan is to film 18 individual videos from each country with filmer Dani Kralik. Obviously a trip like this is pretty massive and the plan might just be crazy enough to work. When we look at flatland, it’s pretty crazy because it has its own world and place in BMX. The riding is on a whole different level, the tricks have different names and there’s no denying that the work and effort it takes to actually begin to master the tricks would make most kids these days cry and hide behind their X-Box. Over the years, we’ve been becoming bigger and bigger fans of flatland just because it’s pretty easy to appreciate something so incredibly challenging. Plus, it seems like a lot of street guys are starting to see how good it looks mixed into their lines as well.
One rider in particular that we have always been big fans of is Lee Musselwhite. Lee is one of those riders that isn’t the kind of guy who is going to put out a video just for the sake of having footage from a new location, but he is pretty known for putting out a video when he has done something new. A little while back, he had a video drop that was filled with his original moves and we knew that there was no way we could skip out on getting to know the guy a little better.
Thanks to Effraim over at Flat Matters, we got ahold of Lee and hit him with a ton of questions. Let’s get to know the Spiderglide master!
