Product: Merritt – Final Drive Freecoaster

Merritt have just released a whole bunch of new products! One of those items is their Final Drive Freecoaster that has been getting a little hype lately from some curious freecoaster riders. This hub has a super slim CNC machined 6061 aluminum shell that looks more like a cassette. Inside, you can find hollow chromoly 14mm axle and the traditional clutch style system, however, they use their new 9-tooth Diamond driver that eliminates the bearings that frequently blow out with polymer bushings. They’re so confident that it works better that the driver has a lifetime warranty! The hub comes with adjustment washers for those of you who don’t want to run maximum slack as well.

The Final Drive Freecoaster is available in right or left side drive with black for the color and a weight of 19.9 oz. through all BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Merritt now!

The Rampera tire is also now available in Military green with black sidewall and black with Military green sidewall. This tire features a low profile tread design that provides plenty of traction on ramps, street and trails with a silk worm anti-puncture casing and a wire bead to keep it on your rim. “Been riding so much flatland lately and had visions of trying some tricks I have not done in awhile but on my flat machine at the park. Namely the tail whip from the back pegs. First did this in 2006 so today was the day to make it happen again. I was not taking NO for an answer or leave with my tail between my legs. Early bird got the worm. Pulled three of them today and that made my day. Made my month. Could not leave Daytona park without riding the rest of the place and my flat bike felt so good.
