Here’s some rad news to get your Friday off right! This weekend is The Kitchen’s annual Pro / AM contest and it turns out that Brett Banasiewicz will be riding in the PRO class for the first time since his serious injury a few years back! It’s so awesome seeing Brett progressing and getting himself back! Even his speech is sounding a million times better. Check this out and get psyched!

Here’s a wild one we spotted over on Can You Dig It! The Festival de Rio down in Colombia had a big BMX dirt jumping contest and needless to say the riders SENT IT! These guys were sending flips, whips, bars, spins and more and it was clear some of these guys took a beating to make it happen. Check out the highlight from the pro class in the video!

Freedom BMX released the cover for their latest issue featuring Bruno Hoffmann on the cover. Unfortunately, they also released the news that this will be their final print issue and will be putting their full attention on web content in the future. It’s definitely a bummer to hear this as the number of print magazines are dwindling. But, it’s a digital world and luckily they will be continuing things from their website.
