Although you probably have no idea what the hell Kyle Hart and Albert Mercado are talking about, they do end up getting a ton of damn good clips in this Calling The Shots! No panda’s were harmed in the making of this…
“San Diego pros BMX riders Kyle Hart and Albert Mercado take you on a journey of bizarre tricks and a never been done move in the land of milk and honey. Enjoy the Beagle Manglers and Panda Planting and take note of Kyle Hart’s 180 crooked grind to fake no hander, pretty sure that is a NBD.” – Network A
Here’s one we spotted on Flat Matters! We’ve seen some footage from the Flatark contest the other weekend in Japan, but this video Flatland BMX Magazine dropped is one of the more extensive ones! Hit play to take in a ton of the riding that went down. Nothing short of amazing!
We’ve seen BMX pop up in music videos plenty of times in the past, but it’s always good to see it keep happening. We spotted this video for a band called Cherrywood over on Focalpoint and were pretty psyched on it. Turns out, Chris “Flagz” Matthews was behind this whole project, so you know it represents BMX in a good way. Check it!
““Every Other Birthday is the first single off Cherrywood’s upcoming record “High End of a Low Town” recorded by Paul Maybury (King Gizzard, Graveyard Train) at A Secret Location Studios in Melbourne. Musically it’s less ‘country’ and more ‘opening credits to a Molly Ringwald film’ than their past recordings… One of those just-in-time-for-summer type tunes that people ought to be humming on the way to the pool. Lyrically it’s kind of bleak: another birthday and another small town year goes by without realising your unrealisable dream… but that’s what makes it the kind of toe tapper you want to hear over and over again. Nothing wrong with a bit of depressing summer pop, as your grandma used to say.” – Nick Finch – Graveyard Train/Black Hat Rackets
The song’s video clip was directed by Chris Matthews of Defero Productions (Batpiss, Spinning Rooms) and is a ridiculous homage to the 80’s BMX adventure film.

It’s funny when you think about how you haven’t seen a video from somebody for a while, then they pop up with a new edit. Ty Callais coming through with a ton of real good riding in his latest GT video that’s all covered in dirt.
“Ty puts in work no matter what he does. Whether its jumping off roofs or simply digging trails. Ty always puts 110% into what he loves to do. Enjoy this all trails edit I had the privilege of making.

Mitch McGowan put a few months into stacking clips for this one and it turned out real good. Check out Mitch’s huge bag of tricks which includes a bunch of real technical lip tricks that are always awesome to see!

Broken ribs suck, so I’m not sure why people want to have a jam celebrating it, haha. There’s not a lot of info on this one, but it looks like wherever this jam was it had some good riding and vibes! Take a peek!

The Tripe Tree crew decided it was time to head over to a nearby plaza for a little evening session! Check out this video they put together from the clips during their time there. Some solid clips for sure.
“Riders: Raí Imhof, Wesley Belotto, Germano Gamba, Kajé Pereira.
A few days ago we decided to go to nearby town to enjoy a decent skate park, since our city find a calamity in over 6 years! Append having run well behind a reform with the city. And walk the streets becomes increasingly difficult for the complaints of the people and authority.
At the sound of the great Fabio Brazza, called “Acorda” is our criticism! (fabiobrazza.com)
Well, what did not, was eager to ride and lots of fun! Walk until you can not stand so tired and there are some of the footage from that night.
I hope you enjoy, thank you!
And you think that political get our vote! take our grind!”
