Jason Phelan caught up with Connor Mailey at Unit 23 for a session that lead to Connor dropping 10 real good lines for this weeks 10 Trick Tuesday from Epic TV! Take in all the tricks and weird faces by hitting that play button!
“This week’s 10 trick is a little special. Not only do we have Conor Mailey ripping up the insane Unit 23 skatepark in Scotland but the video was filmed by WETHEPEOPLE pro BMX rider Jason Phelan. You know its going to be a little weird and different. Conor is the son of Unit 23’s owner so when we say its his home turf, we really mean it. No idea what the costumes and the stuffed Tigger are all about, but we like their style. Killer riding, killer track, and one helluva song.”
Here’s a unique one we spotted on Flat Matters featuring Varo Hernandez working with photographer Predrag Vuckovic on a photoshoot involving a lot of two things we generally try to avoid; a lot of water and a lot of dust! Above is a behind the scenes look at the water portion and below is the dust. Definitely a unique concept that lead to some great photos.

BMX Water to Dust took final form in Predrag’s dreams. Having been a scuba diving instructor for more than 20 years and a former BMX rider it’s easy to conclude how the original idea came about.

George Duran is back at it with a new edit he filmed over the course of two days of cruising some of his local street spots and park! As usual, George comes through with some solid clips making for a video well worth taking a peek at!
What do you do when you break a part that is supposed to be designed to take abuse? Well, I know most of us will just be pissed, bitch, moan and swear off ever running the product again. But then there is a guy like Jon “Gremlin” Betchtold who decided that if he can’t find something he’s satisfied with, he will just make what he wants himself. After breaking what I could imagine plenty of parts because of how much of a beast he is, The Daily Grind was founded with the goal of producing products that are going to hold up to the heavy abuse that comes from riding street like riders really do it these days. One of the first products that The Daily Grind have offered was their hub guards but, recently, the crew decided to put a two year warranty on them to show just how much faith they have in them. Take a look at the video promo video they just dropped giving you a look at just what kind of abuse they put their guards through to make sure they are good enough for you, along with a look at some scraps for their new “Hard Times” DVD that is in the works. “This weeks episode drops in on the Profile Shop stop at our West Coast store front. The profile team stopped by on monday Sept. 8th and meet with the locals and cruised the streets of Riverside, Ca. With riders like Mark Mulville, Matt Coplon, Rickey Mosely, Jared Eberwein & Jason Wattz you know we had a great session. Everyone had a great time but Jason stood out with his crazy trickery.
