Product: Cult – Dak Frame

We got a preview of Dakota Roche’s new signature frame from Cult the other day in his Cultifornia video and here at Interbike, but we didn’t have the specs! Here it all is…
The new Dak frame is made from 100% Cult classic chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, 9.25″ stand over height and 13.5″ – 13.8″ chain stay length. You can find gussets on the top and down tubes with a special Dak logo on the bottom, an investment cast seat post clamp, investment cast seat stay bridge, tapered seat stays, S-Bend chain stays to fit the big 2.40″ tires, removable brake mounts, 5mm thick heat-treated drop outs and custom graphics designed by Dakota himself. The Dak V2 will be available in top tube lengths of 20″, 20.5″, 20.75″, 21″, 21.25″ and colors of black and brown. Expect this frame to be hitting shops and mail-orders worldwide soon!

Mongoose – Kevin Peraza Brings the Heat

Despite it being INSANELY hot, that didn’t keep Kevin Peraza, along with his entire family, from crushing it at the Chandler Park for Mongoose! Everything about this video is amazing so hit play and enjoy!

Red Bull – Dirt Dogs: Jed Mildon

Red Bull dropped the first video in the Dirt Dogs series! This first one gives us a little look of what went into making these massive jumps happen and some footage from a warm up session at Paul Langlands. This is going to get wild!

“Jed Mildon was a man with a vision, all he wanted to do was to build the world’s biggest dirt jumps and break some records. As always though, the simplest ideas often require the largest amount of blood, sweat and shipping containers.

Having spent all his cash on his shipping container roll-in, Jed had to battle the Kiwi weather to set about building his dream jumps.

ABQ DNV – Adrian Vigil – I Got $5 On It

Completely forgot it was Friday until I saw the new AB DNV edit in the inbox! Check out Adrian Vigil killing it as always in a fresh round of I Got $5 On It!

“We have been a slack on the 5 On It as of late but its a lot harder then most people think to make something half decent in a short amount of time at a single spot. That is unless your name is Adrian Vigil, Adrian is a Colorado native that is a damn monster! He did these few clips in about 30-40 minutes before the lights went out at Erie skatepark. I was beyond excited to finally film with him even if one of the shots I feel personally I ruined by setting up the second angle wrong and rolling threw like it was ladies night! All that aside Adrian killed it, plain and simple.

As well we’re working on a few new things as well video wise so keep your eyes open for some new segments from ABQDNV very soon.

The Ultimate Ghetto Games Compilation

Get a look at highlights from this years Ghetto Games out in Latvia in this new edit from Epic TV! Tons of real good riding from riders from all over the world.

“Ventspils, Latvia is generally not an epicenter for BMX but once a year this small city turns into one big BMX party during the Ghetto Games. What started as a sports festival for the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) has become an international bash for all different types of athletes. This year in the BMX event Local shredders like Viktors Kronbergs and Oskars Zajarskis were joined by pros like Brad Simms and the BSD crew. Riders from more than 13 countries were in attendance and the crowd was loving every single one of them. Huge tricks were thrown down including a world first in a competition by none other than Andres Lainevool. ‘A lot of my friends were talking about the Ghetto Games and how cool the contest and everything around it was,’ says filmmaker Philip Kölsch who captured the whole weekend on his Canon 5D MK3 with three different lenses (a Canon 70-200mm IS, a Tokina 11-16 mm, and a Canon 24-105mm IS) and even a couple of quick shots using a hexadrone. ‘I wanted to check it out myself and capture it for everyone who couldn’t be there. The only tough part about shooting was the Latvian parties and their side effects!”

Corner Store Classics: Chapter 1

Clips and corner stores. Spend a day cruising Cleveland’s finest corner stores and spots they have around them in this new edit!

“This is the premiere of a series that combines the idea of spots near corner stores. I have realized the two go hand-in-hand all over the place but this particular segment takes place in Cleveland, Ohio. Corner stores are typically near low-income housing which is apparent in the imperfections of the landscape.
Taking advantage of these bent poles and bumps near bodegas allows for some interesting clips. Also, the people that go to corner stores are characters themselves. You never know what you’re going to see when you kick it at the bodega.” – Damian Racut
