I’m trying to think of the first time I had the chance to meet Chris Childs… I want to say it was at the last DK Dirt Circuit, but it might have been before that. That’s beside the point other than that Chris has been absolutely killing it with his style for years. It seems like after all those years of killing it, he’s finally getting the support he deserves! With joining the Sunday and Merritt pro teams at the start of the year and getting an invite to ride X-Games Dirt here in just under two weeks, we figured it was a good time to catch up with him to see what’s new with him! Nowear – “Bring Your Own Bike” Round 2 Highlights

The second round of the “Bring Your Own Bike” Series was at the Nowear compound the other weekend! After weeks of hard work to get the yard dialed in, it looks like they had a hell of a good turn out and some amazing riding went down! If you want to know what a good time looks like… Hit that play button!

“Nowear Extreme Rider Apparel is putting on a BMX contest series similar to the old grass root comps put on by Hoffman and others. Laid-back atmosphere with the main focus being getting the BMX community together to have a kick ass time at different underground locations. Rick Moliterno and Standard Bykes was the first to jump in behind the idea and is doing everything they can to help us make these comps rock! This is the highlights reel from round 2 held at the Nowear Compound in Unadilla Nebraska. Be sure to check out nowearbmx.com or Nowear’s Facebook for details. Top 3 pro places were 3rd Dylan Gold, 2nd Dan “Danimal” Nielsen and 1st place went to David Mahoney. “We’re pretty stoked on our team from top to bottom but when you get the chance to add another great rider and person to the roster, it’s hard to say no. That being said, we’re stoked to welcome Calgary’s John Alden to the family. John has been killing it for a long time now and has become a solid fixture in not only the Calgary scene but in Canada as well. Watching him roast a great concrete park is something to see and his street chops are just as dialed.
