If you keep up with social media, there’s a good chance you saw that DeMarcus Paul took a nasty crash a few days back that landed him in the emergency room. Luckily, the injuries he sustained weren’t as gnarly as initially thought, so that’s awesome. Head on over to the Volume Bikes website for a Q&A where DeMarcus talks about the crash, his injuries and a few other things like filming for a bunch of videos!
I don’t know how it is going for you, but it’s Saturday, it’s warm and the sun is shining here, so let’s get into this weeks Products: column so we can go out and ride! Sound good? Alright! Vans sent Ty Morrow, Dakota Roche, Brian Kachinsky, Coco Zurita, Gary Young, Bruno Hoffmann and a few others down to Chile to check out the scene, do some demos and watch a contest get wild. Take a peek at some of the action from the demo and contest right here. I’d imagine we’ll be seeing another video surface soon of the team having their way with the country soon enough.

I just saw this over on Freedom BMX of a video Skateboard Magazine dropped. Although I feel like I have seen this before, it is well worth a revisit because I’m sure a bunch of you haven’t seen this yet. Check out a bunch of skateboarders… riding trails. Pretty rad, but I hope they picked up a shovel and fixed things up once they were done.

Spotted this one over on Flat Matters and was really stoked on it. This edit kind of goes to show both sides of Norbert Korsi’s life. When it comes to BMX, we really just see the “BMX” side of things in most peoples lives and rarely do we see what they do when they aren’t riding their bike. This edit starts out with a session and transitions into his work. Had you started this one out with the suit and tie, I would have never expected him to ride BMX. Real cool.
