TWENTY-FOUR DOWN 2014
The 4Down Distribution guys are opening up their warehouse ramps once again to raise money for the Boyley Trust Fund which goes directly back into the Boyley Skatepark. This is for a great cause, so if you’re over in the U.K and can make it to this, get on it!
“Following on from the success of last years event, again for 2014 4Down is offering the exclusive use of our private bike/skate park to host a 24-hour charity fundraising event for the Boyley Trust Fund. The more we raise, the better the improvements being made to the Boyley park will be. There will be pro BMX/skateboarders in attendance to open the event!!
To take part simply register via this web page to book your one-hour slot at the cost of £5 per person. Ten people can ride or skate per hour slot, so you can register as a group for £50 for the hour, or individually. You can book as many one hour slots as you like.
The event takes place on Friday 11th to Saturday 12th April, go here to register now, all proceeds are going to the Boyley Trust Fund.“

Here’s a pretty crazy one we spotted over on Flat Matters. This is a look at Viki Gomez’s flatland specific pedal that’s being released by Moto Bicycles in April! This pedal has a wood body and grip take to keep your feet in place. Now, I know this wouldn’t be ideal for a day at the trails, but could you see wood body pedals being a real thing in other places than flatland? Could be light, but I can’t imagine it’s as strong or durable as plastic. Either way, it’s a unique product, that’s for sure!
