Woodward at Copper Remix – BMX Highlights

Here’s another video from the Woodward at Copper Remix jam that went down last weekend! Tons of awesome riding and good times!

“Last weekend many top BMX pros joined the local BMX community to celebrate the completion of Woodward at Copper’s renovation with a weekend long REMIX party. Gary Young, Morgan Wade, Zach Warden, Adam Baker and AJ Anaya were joined by the heavy local Pusher BMX crew for the demo in the Woodward at Copper bowl.

It is no secret that Colorado has a thriving BMX scene, and the $500,000 Woodward at Copper Barn renovation has made it a BMX destination. The 19,400 square foot Barn now has a new 90 foot by 30 foot pump track with 11 foot vert walls on each end. It also has a new street section, two miniramps, a bowl, as well as both big air and small jumps to foam pits.“

Since Darren Bouldin’s 17th Birthday he has been putting on bike jams. What started out as a small get together with some backyard ramps and just a handful of friends has grown over the years into becoming one of the biggest and most anticipated celebrations in North Carolina. With riders from all over the state and country coming to share in what is possibly the best birthday gift anyone could ever receive. This year Darren and some of the area locals really wanted to step it up from last year’s gathering and within a few weekends they built an entirely new hip line which everyone couldn’t stop talking about afterwards. You see the DB Gold Rush at GMG Trails was not just another Jam or birthday party, for most it was a family reunion and a chance to spend some quality time with the friends and people you care about. Darren has the kind of intoxicating personality that no matter who you are or where you’re from you are immediately drawn towards him. His positive outlook on life and uncanny ability to smile even when his chips are down is like a breathe of fresh air. He is easily one of the nicest and most genuine people I know and I’m grateful to call him friend. I just hope we get to have another 8 years of these in our future.
