Guru Jam – Moments

Over the weekend, Flat Matters‘ Effraim Catlow was over in the U.S from the U.K as one of the judges for the Guru Jam. There’s a good chance you might have heard about this or saw some photos pop up, but here’s a real good video giving you a look at the wild riding and good times that went down during the event!

“GuruJam was the final stop in the AMFlat contest series, held in Columbus, OH on 10.28.2013 at the “Terradome”. It was in my opinion the best executed contest I’ve been to. I didn’t film the entire contest, but these are some moments from the parts I did film.

Legend Bikes – Bruno Espanha Edit

Sometimes we get submissions and I honestly have no idea what to expect… When I got an email from Bruno Espanha, who I have never heard of before, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I hit the play button. All I know is I’m glad I checked out this video of him putting in work for Legend Bikes down in Portugal. Bruno brings some real good riding on a ton of untapped street spots. Definitely worth a watch!

The Bakery – 2nd Annual “Secret Recipe” BMX Invitational

It looks like it’s happening again! The Bakery will be throwing another BMX Invitational jam! If you remember the first one that went down (Chad Kerley’s Vitamin Water Invitational) you would know things got absolutely insane. This is bound to get crazy. “The Bakery and RPRT Management announced a partnership today to bring the coveted Bakery Invitational back in 2013 for its second year in a row. Thanks to support from Mueller Sports Medicine, Vans, Dan’s Comp and Cult Bikes, The Bakery “Secret Recipe” will feature 12 hand selected riders to come and tear up 3 sections of The Bakery and also compete in a bunny hop contest. The contest is closed to the public and riders will be announced all this week (3 a day) via The Bakery Instagram (@insidethebakery). Practice and the contest will be rolled out exclusively through www.insidethebakery.com with a series of web edits highlighting the best moments from practice, the 3 sections of the contest, the bunny hop contest and the final results. Riders will be sworn to secrecy until after the final edit drops. The day will be capped off with the premiere of the much anticipated Dan’s Comp video “Roll Call” and will be open to the public.“
