It’s videos like this that kind of throw me for a loop. The scene in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area has always been super strong, and it looks like it just keeps growing. The reason its throws me for a loop is that the guys I grew up riding with from there are now the old guys and there’s a new generation of riders that just kill it coming up. These guys have all been inducted into the Skworl team. Check out this video of the younger, new additions riding with the older, original crew at 3rd Lair.
“After some talk we decided to add; Trenton Neiss, Derek Strong, Eugene Serrato, Jake Hendrickson and Nikolai Fjelstad DeSantiago to the team. These dudes all kill it. We will have more to come, Just wanted to use winter park clips while its still winter. You will be seeing more of these dudes and the rest of the team!!” – Mike Gelle

Take a look at this video of United‘s Jamie Lusted putting in some work at the 4Down warehouse. Jamie’s not all about the whips and bars and is more about hauling a little ass and sending some crazy grinds. Take a look.
“Jamie Lusted aka Wildcat can often be found getting a session in at the 4Down park. Coxie captured him in action over a few different visits going big and getting tech. Jamie reps on our shop sponsor program through United & The Source.

Spotted this over on Flat Matters. Film maker, Mickey Gaidos, teamed up with Scott O’Brien for a video contest that required only using a cell phone to film it. Now, the quality issue would normally be a factor, but if you know what you’re doing then that’s not really an issue. Check out this video they filmed on an iPhone 4s that ultimately won the contest. As part of the Perspectives video that The Diggest and Animal Bikes collaborated on with Edwin DeLaRosa, they also released a limited run of these newsprint zine’s that highlights the interview and some behind the scenes photo from the making of the video. Take a look through the flipbook above to see that, then we’ve re-embeded the video incase you missed it or want to see it again. It’s absolutely amazing, so make sure you check it.
