Verde has a new home in the U.K. They’re now being distributed by Snap Distribution, so if you are in the U.K and you are looking to get your hands on some Verde product, this is the place to go. I am not 100% sure, but I’m assuming that DUO and Cinema Wheel Co. will also be available through them as well. Read the official press release below.
“Verde is pleased to name Snap Distribution as its new UK home. Snap just received inventory of parts & accessories from Verde. Snap will introduce the new 2014 line of Verde Bikes in July.
“We’re confident that Snap is a great fit for Verde,” explained Steve Buddendeck; brand co-founder. “They represent a small number of brands, know what sells, and consistently received high praise from bike shops, media, our team riders, and Snap’s competitors.”
Like Greenhouse BMX in the states, Snap Distribution is 100% BMX. “We’re really excited to be working with everyone at Verde who all have deep roots in BMX,” says Rich Moore, Managing Director of Snap. “Verde is a great brand with one of the best teams in BMX so we look forward to working on growing them for the long term in the UK.”
Snap and Verde will work together to market and promote the brand in the UK. Verde sponsors UK pros Lima Eltham, Matt Priest, and Martyn Tambling.
Snap Distribution can be contacted at +44 1424 420033 or rich@snapdistribution.com.”
Rain Randväli – Welcome to the Superstar BMX from Superstar BMX on Vimeo.
Superstar just scooped up a youngster from Estonia by the name of Rain Randväli. Companies in the past have had a pretty good success rate with finding talent early on, so it should be interesting to see what becomes of this kid.
Mikey Babbel just received a new box of goods from Hoffman Bikes, so he threw it all together and made a bike check to show it off. Click here to see it.
Madera – Josh Eilken – Day in the Life – Spring 2013 from Madera BMX on Vimeo.
Josh Eilken recently made the move to Arizona, and it seems like he’s got a pretty sweet life going on there. Good food, friends and plenty of places to ride… what else can you ask for? Spotted on Madera’s Twitter.
Eclat has really outdone themselves with this one. This is the first of a series they are doing with the entire pro team, focusing on where the riders grew up and how they became what they are today. Big props to the director/cinematographer Paul Robinson, cause he did an absolutely beautiful job with it.
Matt Gistinger-The Foot High Ledge League from Mathew Gistinger on Vimeo.
As a long time four pegger, and a fellow low ledge jibber, I’m totally into this one. Here’s what Matt had to say about the video:
“We all know that foot high ledges are the greatest obstacle on planet earth, so why not have a league of foot high ledge riders.”
Grind on my brother, grind on.
Real bummer news came across the wire today. Legendary The Flow Skatepark will be closing it’s doors very soon. The 28th of this month is the last day, so you better hurry up if you want to get a last run in on it. As you may have noticed from the image above, the day before closing is the 3rd stop of the Recon Tour.
