Spotted this over on The Merged. The other day, Chase DeHart dropped a little sneak peek on Instagram of the new investment cast Sect fork he’s testing out from Cult. Based on the photo, it looks like they have butted legs along with the cast drop outs that almost appear to be a little oversized for extra strength in the photo. I may be wrong and these are just prototypes, but if it has a logo on it, there’s a good chance these are super close to being done. Start saving your money.
The guys at Proper Bike Co. have been working on a bunch of new products and it sounds like we’ll be seeing them starting to pop up now. Above we have the Acala top load stem which is made from 6061-T6 alloy with a 52mm reach, 20mm rise and a recessed top for your compression cap to fit in clean. The stem also features extra machining on the sides and top cap for a clean look and extra weight savings. Are top loads not really your thing? Colton Satterfield’s sponsor, G-Form caught up with him at Woodward West to shoot some photos and film some riding from him. Although the filming it pretty rough, Colton throws down some awesome riding on pretty much everything from the trails to the park to the vert ramp. Take a look.

Where would you go if you could take a trip anywhere in the world for a week of riding? There are a lot of places to go that would make for an amazing riding trip, that’s for sure. However, there is one place that I’m sure crosses everybody’s mind at one point or another and that’s Barcelona. The Freed Bikes team decided it was time to give their passports some love and make a trip outside of the U.S for their first big team trip with this newly formed brand. Andy Smith, River Waldren, Chris Chamberlain and Corey Foster along with filmer Bobby Kanode packed their bags and made the the flight from Arizona over to this BMX hot spot the other week where they found good spots, new friends and plenty of fun. Below we’ve got a bunch of photos they snapped during the trip to give you a look at just what they got into. Take a peek and expect a full edit to drop from the trip soon!
