FTS Crew Promo

March 18, 2013

Damn this is good. This is the first promo from the FTS crew featuring Nik Mars, Robbie DeCelle, Neil Richardson and Damion Black who all spent a month and a half filming for this one. Check out some damn good riding and some real good spots in this one for sure. Sounds like this is just the start for these guys, so expect more soon!

Thanks For Everything – Oscar Gottfries and Jens Skeppstedt

March 18, 2013

I’m not sure what Henrikssons Cykel is, but I am sure that Oscar Gottfries and Jens Skeppstedt lay down some rad riding in this one. Take a peek!

“So this is the last edit Henrikssons cykel will put out. I’m thankful for all the support, the crazy trips we went on and all the people I’ve got to know during the time I were part of Henrikssons. I wish everyone on the team good luck in the future!

Firsts: Dylan Pfohl

FIRSTS DYLAN PFOHL Photo_600x

Interview by Mark Noble
Photos by Matt Lingo

One of the most prolific filmers in the industry, Dylan Pfohl’s video output is clearly on a level that is higher than most – he has an eye for detail, a creative edge that makes his work stand out from the crowd, and a portfolio of work that most people who kill for – riders know that if they do something with Dylan, it’s going to be done RIGHT. Dylan’s on top of his game.
Like most riders who have been around for a long time, Dylan’s early days were quite different to how most kids see BMX these days – “Looking back on it, BMX was so simple growing up. We liked jumping our bikes so we built jumps. That was it for years, no magazines, no videos, no internet. I didn’t ride a skatepark until I was 18 years old. I’m pretty thankful I always had the camera out, even when we were just learning to ride. It’s so awesome now to go back and see where we started.”
2012 was a very busy year for Dylan and it seemed not a week went by without something popping up out of his hard-drive and venturing online, but what about right now? “For the first time in months I don’t have any major projects going on, so I’m taking the time to finally work on my Best Of 2012. I probably won’t call it that though, since it’s pretty late. As for what’s next, I’m moving to Huntington in a few days so I plan on learning how to surf. Other than that, just keep doing my own thing.”
Let’s get stuck into finding out a new FIRSTS with Dylan.

The Albion – Cruisin’ LA with George Boyd

March 18, 2013

Damn this is good. The Albion dropped this new edit of George Boyd getting some riding time in around Los Angeles. If you’ve ever seen George’s riding, you know he brings a unique approach to riding and makes everything look real effortless. You aren’t going to want to skip this one.

“Texas native George Boyd cruises the streets of LA for a couple of days with filmer Cameron Muilenburg. See The Albion issue 10 for a full feature on George Boyd.

Red Bull – Terry Adams “Retrospective”

March 18, 2013

Spotted this gem over on Flat Matters. Terry Adams has a fresh new Red Bull video that had some serious production value go into it. Check out some wild riding and some super clean filming and editing for this one. Even if you don’t ride flatland, I think you will appreciate this one!

“BMX Flatland rider Terry Adams brings you through his history growing up in Louisiana. Showcasing two of his signature moves the Katrina and Adams Bomb in super slow motion.” – Red Bull

Radical Rick X Nowear Collaboration

March 18, 2013

RR1

About a month or so ago, Karl Hinkley from NoWear mentioned during a session at Bluff Valley that he was working with the original artist who did all of the old Radical Rick cartoons in BMX Plus! back in the day. They’ve been working on a bunch of designs that will bring the two together and it sounds like they will be dropping later this year and in 2014. Honestly, this is going to be awesome as hell! Can’t wait to see how it turns out. I’m sure there’s a few older dudes who are pumped on this too.

“ NOWEAR is extremely proud to present it’s “Damian series” this year. Damian and NoWear have partnered up to combine the best of 2 worlds. I am submitting to him rough ideas I have had packed away and he is helping tweak them and do the art. We are doing 2 series so far for sure each consisting of 5 designs each series. Series 1 will be available this year starting in mid August. RAD Series by NOWEAR will unveil 1 shirt each month from Aug to Dec. Release dates on Series 2 in 2014 will be announced later on our web and Facebook. If all goes well we may continue the project. It goes without saying that each design will be extremely unique that everyone will have a hard time deciding weather or not to wear it or hang it on their wall. For the hardcore Rad Rick fans, never fear there will be a NOWEAR shirt that features Rick himself.” – Karl Hinkley / NoWear

Sons of Ditches

March 18, 2013

I’m digging this one, I’ll call these guys the ANB crew since that’s the name of the vimeo account. The ANB guys got sick of dodging scooters that have been infesting the skateparks around Las Vegas, so they decided to go on a ditch hunting mission and they ended up coming across a ton of dialed spots. Check out all the riding these guys were able to get in! Stoked to see some of the older dudes getting shit done.
