Chris Mahoney recently hopped on a Faction 22″ Amero complete to see what all the hype was about these 22″ wheels. It looks like he was a little off at first, but once he got the hang of things, he got loose. Check this out.
“Chris Mahoney at Flo skatepark on the new Faction Amero Twenty2. The music track is Never Givin Up by Rudimental, from Asylum label. Filmed over two sessions, Chris shows what is possible on 22″ wheel bikes,
surpassing his previous video and becoming the first rider to do turn down flairs and 360 flips on a 22″.
The video starts with the camera just missing Chris pull a perfect flair first run on the bike and his and our reaction to it. Look for Chris’ bike whip foot plant, a fun move that is sure to get the scooter kids imitating but also shows how easy 22″ bikes are to whip around. Chris commented afterwards ‘the 22″ felt better than a 20″ for jumping high over the box as it’s faster and more stable’.”

As soon as this turned up in my inbox I knew Colony had dialed new edit for us to check out. Mick Bayzand brings some heat to the streets of Australia and Canada and puts his pegs and nose balance to work. Check it!
“Mick has been stacking clips for various projects lately, he is well known for his burly rail skills but can also jib with the best of them so there is some moves in this you may not expect from Teddy but I think it shows how diverse his riding is becoming. This footage is from all around Australia and Vancouver, Canada.
Filmed by Cooper Brownlee, Jack Kelly, Kym Grosser and Sam Lowe.
