Back in November, the Northern Embassy caught up with Jeff Evans to spend a day with him. Check out what they got into along with a bunch of solid riding.
Superstar – Pampa Lost Chainless Tapes
Superstar came across some old footage of Pampa that went missing recent recently. The footage is pretty wild for the fact that he’s riding chainless for all of these clips. You probably would have thought he had a freecoaster if I didn’t say anything, haha. Check this out for sure.
Sam Foakes – Manchester Edit
When Effraim from Flat-Matters sends over a video, it’s usually real good. This one definitely is pretty crazy. How the hell does he ride in the rain like that? It’s gotta be slippery as hell.

Constant Motion – Erik Orgo
This video of Erik Orgo is definitely one you’re going to want to check out. Everything from the riding to the spots are so good and the filming and editing is dialed. Real stoked on this one. Check it!
“CONSTANT MOTION… The idea behind the name is to always keep moving forwards… towards positive progression no matter what is going on around and also spending time with friends along the way.
I’ve known Erik Orgo (Eki) for around 3.5 years now and I remember the first day I filmed with him, he straight away stood out of the rest with his skill and passion for BMX. Eki’s progression is off the roof pretty much. Over the years since I’ve known him, his riding and passion has expanded quite a bit.
Spending time chilling, filming with riders such as Eki, also pushes me towards trying out new things and the way I make videos as well. He rides everything on such a high level and it’s absolutely remarkable. For me he is BMX in Estonia.
It took us almost 2 years to film/create/make this video. We have had the opportunity to travel to different cities across the country and explore the spots there, which were different from the ones that are in Tallinn. This gave us the opportunity to get new tricks filmed and make the video more richer than it would have been if we stayed only in one city. We even built up one spot over night to get one trick filmed.
One thing that amazes me is the level of commitment that Eki has. Hopefully the last part of the video will show you how much hard work has been put into this video by Eki.

Kingdom Store – Tom Calcagno Welcome Edit
This new video of Tom Calcagno welcoming him to the Kingdom Store is so good. Tom rides fast and smooth on the streets and it definitely makes for a real good video. Check this one out right now.

Scott O’Brien @ New Orleans City Park
I’m a sucker for well filmed and edited flatland edits. The riding is crazy already, but a smooth and sharp edit makes that much better. Spotted this one of Scott O’Brien on Flat-Matters that’s definitely worth a look.
“Scott has been a big inspiration in my riding for many years; more than he even knows. Back in the day, Scott rode everything and when he showed up at contests he would bust out and hand out flat/street style to many. I even judged a dirt jumping contest Scott rode in were he pulled a tree ride in his run.#sick Today he’s know for his MC work at flatland contests, but to me he will always be an all around rider, with a bag of tricks that only a few of us remember and get to see. This edit is only a few tricks what he currently works on, but I hope to document more of his riding in the next few years. Scott’s passion and unique style for this sport is a true asset to all of us. Always fun hanging out Scott!” – Rob
Sneak Peek: Bizhouse – Ratchet Prototype Sprocket?
Effraim at Flat-Matters just dropped this on me and my brain exploded. Bizhouse dropped this quick clip giving you a sneak peek at their “Ratchet”… system? No description, no real information but what I’ve gathered from this video is this.
They’re working on either a sprocket or some sort of bottom bracket that works like a ratchet wrench would work. When you pedal forward it engages and allows you to pedal, but when you are not putting forward pedal pressure on it, it allows you to freely roll backwards without pedaling. Similar to how if you are tightening a nut, you wrench and then pull it back to reset and tighten more.
Essentially this allows you to run a freecoaster without having to replace your rear hub.
I’m not going to lie, this is blowing my mind. Effraim is going to try and get a few answers out of Sean at Bizhouse about this one, so hopefully we can get some answers here soon.
What do you guys think?
DK – Josh Cox Winter 2012 Edit
