Here’s a fresh mixtape from the U.K featuring Cal Earnshaw, Ben ‘Bomber’ Shears, Josh ‘Punkus’ Webber, James Curry, Jamie Skinner, Jason ‘Fooman’ Colledge and Che Marsh. The footage is some “leftover” clips from the summer that didn’t have a home, but damn did this turn out good. Take a peek.
I’m not going to lie, I didn’t realize how stacked the S-One Helmets team was until I saw this. Check out Alex Platt, Alfredo Mancuso, Brian Yeagle, Dave Dillewaard, Morgan Wade, Adam Banton and their newest recruit, Broc Raiford showing you what they got. Tons of goodness in this.

For this instalment of FIRSTS we track down Lloyd Ramsay – a rider who, after spending a few years in the UK, moved back out to South Africa to work in the bike industry, and then break out on his own to work on a new site and branding – or, as he puts it; “I wasted a large amount of time producing digital media for a bicycle company recently and decided I was done making other people rich and working on a BMX frame they were being underhanded with. So I started my own company. The focus is on the lifestyle and passion of people involved in Action Sports. No pro riders. No regurgitated videos / photos. No competition coverage. No press releases. Simply real people who pay for their own bike or skateboard telling a life story we all can relate to. The people that keep our sports alive. I’m not going to plug it and say what it’s name is, but I am sure readers will figure it out.” Prior to this, Lloyd has produced some really impressive video work for a wide range of subjects, from Rockstar’s BMX racing team to Nike’s Pool contest. So we figured it would be a good time to work out Lloyd’s FIRSTS.
This edit may have taken a year to make, but damn did it come out good. Check out Martyn Tambling killing it for Verde.
“Originally we hoped to shoot this edit in around three months but this proved easier said then done; finding days where Martyn was free for exploring spots proved rather difficult in between being a husband, father, site foreman and TM for the Verde UK Team amongst other side projects he does. This alongside the atrocious British weather meant that this web edit took us a little over a year to complete.
Martyn likes to keep off the beaten track and seems to get a kick out of sneaking around in places we shouldn’t be; often a days riding can be as much about the adventuring and overcoming obstacles as it can be about the riding itself. This project saw us visit boat yards, drop slides, full pipes, reservoirs and more and some spots proved successful while others proved less productive. However every location included a sense of exploration and discovery and a hope of finding that hidden gem, hopefully this is just the start of many more adventures to come!
