Fundraiser – Texas Toast Jam Limited Edition Oakleys

“One of this years TEXAS TOAST JAM sponsors, OAKLEY, went above and beyond to create special products to donate. These are the new style (and brand new in box) Garage Rock glasses. Matte Black with Bronze lenses and Bronze hinges. what make these special are the Laser etched lenses that say WARNING: TEXAS TOAST on one lens and have the 2012 TX Toast Gauntlet of Death logo. These and special Frogskins went to the All the top Winners of the contest, and select staff. These are the last pair available and we are auctioning them off to help a friend of Toast, Doug Crowell. Better known as Doug E Fresh, He was pivotal in making Toast 2011 happen, but this year Doug was in a serious accident on April 22nd. He was t-boned by a drunk driver & life flighted to a hospital in San Antonio. He was in a coma & sustained 6 broken ribs, broken leg, punctured lung, bruised spleen, & serious bleeding in his brain. Doug was wearing a helmet at the time of his accident and the driver of the car is now in jail. Doug is on the long road to recovery and can use our help.

Recon Tour Finals
From what I can gather from this video, the Recon Tour is Monster‘s version of the Free Flow Tour. It gives unknown riders a chance to get their name out and get hooked up. This is a video from the event that went down at the Claremont park in San Diego recently. Looks like everyone was throwing down.
“Check out the final edit from the 2012 Recon Tour Finals at Mission Valley YMCA / Krause Family Skatepark. The final stop drew nearly 125 riders and hundreds of people who came out to check the action. Special thanks to all the riders and our tour partners Monster Energy, Hookit, GoPro, SPY, Woodward and others who made the first year a huge success. For more, visit TheReconTour.com.”
N2T Session with Liam Stephens
Matt Nicklen caught up with Liam Stephens at their local park for a rare filming session between the two. I’m not all too familiar with Liam, but it would appear he’s definitely a really talented rider that I think we can all agree we would like to see more of. Take a peek since you won’t be disappointed.
Stephen Campbell Bike Check
I’m sure most of you wouldn’t recognize Stephen “The Viking” Campbell’s name, but that’s because he’s busy behind the scenes at Odyssey taking care of the team and the numerous other roles that come with that position. However, he’s a hell of a guy and he recently built up a fresh Sunday Broadcaster frame into a hell of a bike. Check out the full parts list right here.
