Nathan Silva picked himself up a Canon T3i and decided to put it to good use by filming some of his riding. Plenty of style in this one.
Drawing Board: Shadow Conspiracy Interlock Chain

Intro by Kurt Hohberger – Interview by Dave Paterson
Over the years, there have been a handful of products that really stood out and have become “that product” that everyone knows as the perfect example that was eventually reproduced by a handful of other brands with minor tweaks and branding changes. For example, we could look at products like S&M’s Slam Bars, Odyssey’s Twisted PC pedals and Profile’s cranks. There’s one product that I think fits into this category that you without a doubt have either ran on your bike, or know a few people who do. That would be the Shadow Conspiracy‘s Interlock half-link chain. Since its release, it has been duplicated and replicated fairly unsuccessfully by a handful of brands and Shadow have stayed on top with making beneficial tweaks to make it stronger and better than before. Dave figured it was time to catch up with owner Ronnie Bonner to find out more about what exactly makes this chain one of the legendary products of BMX. So let’s take a look and what he had to say…

Product: Madera – HT Cranks

If you caught our latest Drawing Board interview with Profile on their hubs, at the end they mentioned that Madera would be releasing some new cranks. Well, here they are. Fully heat-treated and a warranty to give you plenty of faith.
“Here they are after a long time testing and lots of prototypes. The HT cranks are made from 4130 Chromoly steel that is swaged to give the HT cranks their initial strength and then heat treated for a final hardening process. One of the biggest changes is that Madera is now offering a warranty on their cranks!
The new HT’s now incorporate a Limited Lifetime Warranty* against bending and breaking of the arms and spindle. They are available currently in Matte Black with other colors to follow.
MSRP of $142.95”
You should be able to pick these up wherever Madera is sold as of today. If not, have your shop give them a call and get a set coming your way! For more information, hit MaderaBMX.net.

Conroe Park, TX
Rob DiQuattro dropped some quick clips of him and his buddy Chrix getting a rail session in at the Conroe Park in Texas. Check it!
“Flew into Texas, built the bikes up, and headed to this park. I hadn’t ridden in about 6 weeks due to a back injury and the rails there were so much fun. Chrix got the flip cam out about halfway through the session in enough time to watch derazz completely kill it. Fake street or die.” – Rob
