These helmet cam edits that Mark Potoczny has been putting together for Deluxe are so rad. Here’s some fresh footage from his time he spent at the La Source trails in Touluse, France this past summer.
“Back in August of 2011 I was lucky enough to visit the La Source trails in Toulouse, France. The trails were a blast and the session was followed by possibly the best trail bar bq I have personaly been a part of. The first run is through the long and windy Bichon line, and the second run is on the line called Frelon! Thanks for the good times!”
Academy – Roadtripz To the Future Program
This is awesome. I guess the guys at Road Tripz teamed up with Academy to run some classes and at the end they were giving the bikes to the kids. They ended up giving away 30 bikes! There’s 30 new kids riding BMX because of that. So awesome. Read more below.
“Jason Cousins from Roadtripz recently ran a program with coaching clinics for riders to get into BMX. What was really special about this program was that at the end of the program, each rider that participated was given a free 2012 Academy Aspire complete bike !! How cool is that?

Thundercloud – Episode 9: Alex Nolan
According to the description, Alex Nolan has only been riding BMX for a year. Not sure how much time he put in on a mountain bike or dirt bike, but this edit definitely has a bunch of bangers. Real impressive.
“This episode is probably my favourite I’ve made so far. We filmed this over a few weeks but due to a particular third party wasting our time the release has been delayed. Like the rest of crew of riders he rides with Alex is a well rounded kid. An awesome rider and an even more awesome dude.
A lot of people find it easy to hate on people who are naturally talented at something. The truth is that no one, no matter how naturally talented they are, get good at anything with out putting in the hard work. Alex is one of those kids that gets good at whatever he gets into whether it’s moto trails riding or free ride MTB. In the last year or so Alex has picked up BMX and progressed at an incredible pace. He has not only put in the hard work to get good at the sport he loves he has whole heartedly embraced the most important part of BMX, having fun. Everytime Alex drops in he is having fun and that is what counts the most.
