“In the pure fashion of our magazine, for our first film,we didn’t wanted to do a basic “one minute banger iPhone web edit”.
We asked the new, and yet talented JC Pieri to film and edit a video in collaboration with C.Van hanja that will take you in an eye candy piece of film explaining what it took to Mark Webb to not surrender.
In this ten minute movieMark talks about his Banger video, about his new brand total BMX, and about the spirit of all this. A lot of unusual ridding is included in this vid as wel as some behind the scene of the next issue of ART BMX mag cover.

Northwest Coast Trip

I definitely enjoyed this.

“If you didn’t know, now you know. . . but it rains a lot in the northwest. So when the weather is bad in town the coast is sometimes the best place to go to beat the rain. And after sitting around the house for weeks always checkin the weather channel hoping there will be a break in the weather, we just decided to take our chances and head over to Florence Oregon to shoot a little day edit for Matt Cordova. But about 30 minutes into our sesh at the park Matt took a little digger and his shoulder got messed up! So it was a bummer for all of us, but Matt was cool enough to be behind the lens and do a little shooting. Big thanks to Dan for shooting and editing! Hope you enjoy.

Harry Main Off MirraCo.

After three years on the MirraCo. team, Harry Main has decided to part ways with the brand. This is coming only a week or so after Nigel Sylvester also parted ways with the team for a new opportunity.
There has been speculation of where Harry is heading, but nothing has been announced. Suggestions of Total BMX make sense, but some people feel there’s a reason he’s in Australia. Whether is joining The Set or maybe even Colony; nobody really knows. I’m going out on a limb and saying it would probably be Total BMX out of those three options, but then again he could find a home on a completely different team. I’d imagine he will be announcing where he’s going soon enough. Below are a few words about the situation from him on his Facebook Fan Page.

“The journey Over the past 3 Years with MIRRACO has been amazing, loved every moment of it, from when i first got invited out to mirra’s warehouse in 2009, the support from the company was awsome. we are still on great terms and would like to wish Mirraco the very best in everything they do. thanks to Jim Ford & Dave mirra its been a hell of a ride over there!
