A Chill Day With Spencer Sullivan

November 6, 2011

Spencer Sullivan is a local rider here in Minnesota that has been progressing at a real fast pace this past year. When he isn’t saying something dumb, he’s probably learning a new trick. I was pretty impressed with this edit since it looks like he has flairs on lock now. The video starts out a little slow, but towards the middle / end there’s some serious team work from Spencer and Finger that is pretty funny and the last trick is pretty damn wild. Take a peek.

Daniel Johnson Interview

Prior to the launch of Division Brand, I had not heard of Daniel. I don’t know if it was just me not noticing his name or clips in edits, or if he was just secretly hiding. Either way, since the launch of the brand, I’ve quickly become a fan of DJ’s wild ability to kill it with the pegs. After seeing some of his recent edits I decided it was time to get ahold of this dude and find out more. I think you will get real psyched on this one. Take a look at what he had to say…

Hoang Tran’s Day In The Life of Leisure

November 6, 2011

Ya know when you hear people talk about living the “pro life”? Ride all day, do whatever you want? Well, now that Hoang Tran is done with college, he’s definitely living the pro life and if this doesn’t make you jealous… I don’t know what will.

“Since finishing school, Subrosa/Shadow pro Hoang Tran has been living something he calls a “life of leisure,” which consists of riding bikes, fishing, camping, shooting photos and a little something I like to call the new black: fixing motorcycles.

In the above video, Hoang details his life alongside some pretty amazing park riding. And in the process, he also brings to light one of the secrets to being a successful pro in BMX: “Any trip I’m offered, I go on.”

Yes, it’s that simple. Video by Justin Kosman.”

DC Shoes PA Trip – Leo Forte GoPro Clips

November 6, 2011

Little Leo Forte helmet cam action for you to start your day.

“Last week the UK DC BMX team took a trip to Eastern Pennsylvania. Here’s a GoPro clip Leo Forte filmed on the westside line at the infamous Catty Woods.”

Joyride 150 – Halloween Jam

November 6, 2011

Here’s some footage from the Joyride Halloween Jam that went down up in Toronto this past weekend. Justen Soule did a real good job filming and editing and there was a ton of wild riding….

Anyone else notice the Stolen sticker on Steven Moxley’s bike? Just sayin’…

“The Joyride 150 Halloween Jam went down last weekend with a huge turnout for the event. This video is a recap of the BMX Pro Jump Line, and BMX Pro Park contests during the event.

BMX Pro Jump Line Results: 1st Mike Gray, 2nd Zeb Dennis, 3rd Steven Moxley, 4th Jeremy Joyce, 5th Mike Varga.

BMX Pro Park Results: 1st Ty Dawson, 2nd Jeremy Joyce, 3rd Steven Moxley, 4th Brandon Webster, 5th Mike Gray.”

Bobbie Altiser Edit

Bobbie Altiser Video – More BMX Videos

Hell yeah, Bobbie! This is what’s good! I’d love to see you brakeless kids out there do half the stuff in this one.

“Front brakes are NOT dead. Bobbie puts them to proper use in this new video that, in my opinion, is the best display of his riding he has ever put out. All sorts of creativity here… Credit: John Hicks“

Movement – Night Ledge Session

The Movement crew get a session in on a real fun looking ledge setup in this new edit. Take a peek!

Insight: Case Issue 7

November 5, 2011

Last night, the new issue of Case showed up in the mail. I was psyched for two reasons… One because I had been hearing good things about this issue, and two because that meant I’d be able to do one of my favorite things in the world to do on a saturday morning; kick back, listen to music, sip on coffee and read a new magazine.

Issue 7 features a Mark Mulville Interview, the Duo UK Trip, Profile Europe trip, Marcas Grubbs Interview, Deluxe Trails Trip and the Punjab letter. Each of these features were all real solid reads. I was especially impressed with the Punjab letter. I’m definitely looking forward to what he does with his life once he gets out of prison. Mark Mulville’s and Marcas Grubb’s interview’s were both real good reads and each of the team trips had some damn solid photos.

I’m still a real big fan of their larger format Case runs with a slightly larger overall size of the magazine in comparison to some of the others out. Definitely get your hands on this one. It’s cheap since all you have to pay is shipping…
