“For October Sidewall is teaming up with Mat Hoffman for a month long like-a-ton.
Basically you like us we give stuff away. Sounds super simple cause it is. From Oct. 1 – Oct. 31, when you become a fan of Sidewall on Facebook we will put you into 2 drawings to win prizes.
Instead of just giving away stickers, koozies or some 4XL shirt that you’ll never wear, how about put some super elite limited edition goods that you can’t just go out and buy.
HERE’S HOW THIS IS GOING DOWN:
We want to hit 2,500 fans but we are at around 1,700 at the moment.
When we hit 2,000 fans we do the first drawing for a limited edition hardback copy of FREESTYLIN’ Generation F – 1984-1989, signed by Mat Hoffman.
When we hit 2,500 fans we do the second drawing for a limited edition hardback copy of FREESTYLIN’ Generation F – 1984-1989, a copy of The Birth of Big Air and a Hoffman Bikes 2012 poster all signed by Mat Hoffman.
DETAILS ON THE GOODS:
FREESTYLIN’ Generation F is basically the history and guide to the BMX Godfathers that built and molded the sport of BMX Freestyle, so yes it is filled with people that are most likely much older than you are and certainly unique individuals.
The Birth of Big Air is a film about Mat Hoffman‘s career and how he pushed beyond the limits of BMX in pursuit of the future of the sport. Directed by Jeff Tremaine and produced by Johnny Knoxville and Spike Jonze.
Hoffman Bikes 2012 poster shows an old school big air photo that is also on the front and the complete Hoffman Bikes 2012 product line on the back.
With all that said, go out to the Sidewall Facebook page and like us.” – Sidewall

“We wanted to make sure every last detail was fine tuned and scrutinized before finally releasing these forks. By utilizing investment casting technology we were able to the conventional dropout position and move these into the centre of the legs. By using a gradual radius where the dropout meets the leg, it thickens at the base, creating a vastly stronger dropout than on a regular welded one. By curving the very bottom of the leg we have prevented any catching when getting all locked in with front peg grinds.
The neat embossed logo is there to add a nice finishing touch. To increase tyre clearance these forks have a tighter radius on the legs than traditionally found, and it is all connected by a completely overhauled steerer tube. What you end up with is a clean and simple looking street tough fork, with no welds for pegs to sit on and crack, all weighing in at just 2.02 lbs / 920 gm. Made from full post weld heat treated seamless 4130 cromo, and put through their paces by our team.
Available in colours to match all of our signature frames if you wanna rock them combos, and available now.

It looks like Stranger is jumping in on the massive bar trend with these 9.25″ 4 Piece Thrash bars. If that’s a little too big for your taste, they also come in 8.69″. There will be more information and details closer to their release.
