Ruben Alcantara and Hugo Almeida heard some rumers about an Bowl in the middle of nowhere Portugal. They set out on an adventure… and found a pretty amazing set up. Ruben talks about the mission, puts down some super good riding and Hugo documents its all.
There’s a saying that goes “only the good ones die young” and this couldn’t be more true. Tuesday night, while driving through Arizona, Banned‘s own Rickey Bates and Gary Dimartine lost their lives in a car accident. This is a very sad day in BMX since both guys were amazing people and very talented riders. They will be missed by many. I’m still in shock by the news… Rest in Peace. #Banned.

Some of you may have noticed the Cult cranks that were on display at Interbike this year. Well, now some more information about them has become available. The Cult Cranks have tubular heat-treated swaged (bends in the cranks are made when the metal is cold) chromoly arms, a wrap around gusset design, one piece spindle / sprocket boss, 19mm 48 spline chromoly spindle and flush hollow bolts. The Cult cranks will be available soon and come with Right or Left hand compatibility.
