If you have been keeping up with the Daily section lately, you would have recognized Bret’s name since it has been popping up quite frequently. Bret’s got an interview over on Focalpoint talking about his film work. Give it a look.
Well, it’s that time of the year again. The contests are starting to hit, riders travel schedules are getting nuts and I’d imagine a lot of ridiculous stuff is going to go down. Dew Tour sent over an email with this 3D rendering of the park design for Ocean City, Maryland on July 21st-24th. It sounds like this year they let Ryan Nyquist design the course so there is plenty of transfer lines and big boy ramps for things to get nuts on. You can expect to see all the big names like Drew Bezanson, Maddog, Pat Casey, Scotty Cranmer, Daniel Dhers, Brandon Dosch, Dennis Enarson, Ryan Guettler, Craig Mast, Nyquist, Garrett Reynolds, Jeremiah Smith, Morgan Wade, Mark Webb and Gary Young on the course as usual. One name I was surprised to see on the list was Dave Mirra. It sounds like he’s sitting out of anything BMX related for X Games this year, but expect him to still be riding his bike at the Dew Tour. That’s a good sign.

I’ve been becoming a heavy fan of Shane Weston’s this past year or two. The real clean hop nothings, freecoaster goodness and in general chill style he brings to the table is without a doubt impressive. After a few sponsor additions and changes like getting bumped up to eclat‘s pro team and being added to Dan’s Comp‘s flow team, I decided I needed to shoot him a few questions to find out more about him.
