Kevin has been on the hustle lately trying to wrap up filming for his Verde part and Deadline section. If that doesn’t seem like a lot of work, he has also found the time to drop some real good edits of his friends. I figured it would be a real good time to check in with him to see how things are going, what camera setup he’s working with these days and more. Let’s take a look at what he has to say…

The other day I was flipping through channels and I could have swore I saw Clint Reynolds packing down a lip. Then a bunch of guys started lake jumping and I realized it was the new Mountain Dew commercial that word has been going around about. It’s finally online after some legal issues according to the tweet I got back from Mt. Dew when I asked them to put it online. This turned out rad.
““Cooling Off” is Mountain Dew’s new tv spot featuring a group of BMX lake jumpers showcasing their skills and unique remedy for beating the summer heat. Featuring music from The Cool Kids (“Swimsuits”), plus YouTube experts Seth Wilde, Seth Bryan, Tabatha Beustring, and professional bikers Clint Reynolds, Andy Martinez, Joseph Frans, and Jabari Lagrone.”

Ty Morrow has parted way with Federal to ride for Fiend, which I’m assuming is Garrett Reynolds’ new brand he is starting.
“So the time has come to announce that Ty is moving on from Federal to new things. Obviously we’re pretty bummed but can understand Ty’s desire to go and be part of something his best friend is starting, as a result we only wish him the best in his future endeavors. We’d like to take the opportunity to publicly say thanks to Ty for all he’s done for Federal over the last 2 years and good luck with the next chapter.” – Federal

There’s been a lot of different things popping up about Ezra and Guerra the last few weeks. Now it all comes together with this new online mail-order called Vein. Here’s what it’s all about…
“www.VeinBMX.com is different than other online retailers and mail order shops because we own most of the brands we sell. Those brands are Amber, Ezra, Guerra and Vein. Amber makes complete bikes and middle-level parts. Ezra offers high-end parts and Guerra makes high-end frames, forks, and bars. Vein products currently include tools. Veinbmx.com will also sell a few products from select independent brands.
Traditionally, the brand or manufacturer will sell to a distributor then the distributor sells to the shop and the shop sells to you. In some cases the brand will sell directly to the shop. Vein BMX sells directly to the consumer, so we can offer a better price or a better spec on similarly priced products in shops. This means we are not forced to compromise spec in favor of a lower price. It also means when you have a question you will be communicating directly with us.
We’ve assembled some great riders to test and develop products. Edits are being put together now and will be released in the coming weeks.
Ezra riders:
· Karl Poynter
· Dan Foley
· Nick Anderson
Guerra riders:
· Rob Darden
· Rick Scott
· Nick Anderson
Vein BMX is focused on riders offering the best customer experience available with features such as live chat manned by an actual BMX rider, a toll-free phone number, technical assistance videos, product reviews by riders who actually bought the product, and a large stock of replacement parts.
Support Your Local Shop!
VeinBMX.com is a great option for riders who prefer to buy online. However, we believe there is no replacement for a great, well-stocked local bike shop. If you are not mechanically inclined, please support your local shop as they can offer you the service and advice you need and should have a selection of the many great brands out there. Don’t be shy though you can still sign up and win free stuff.
