Video: John Thompson

John Thompson’s name has been popping up a lot the last few years with his involvement with the Blazeguard crew and as The Set’s filmer. Recently, John left The Set after a short stay with the brand and started focusing fully on the Blazeguard video again. I’ve been a big fan of his work so it was natural that I shot him a few questions about his career path, why he left The Set, and what to expect from the Blazeguard video. So, let’s take a look at what John has to say, a few screen grabs from the video in the works and some of his recent work!

Eastern – Adam Banton & Friends at Woodward West
Last summer, Adam Banton spent some time at Woodward West with Jeremy Pavia, Coco Zurita and the campers. Adam filmed a bunch of random stuff while he was there and decided to put some of it together since he’s going to be back there April 17th-20th with Kelly Bolton riding with the kids again!
Kevin Peraza – Ghetto Shed
Kevin Peraza made his way over to the U.K to get some riding time in. He absolutely destroys Southsea skatepark and Mark Webb’s Ghetto Shed with his ability to go huge, or do some wild technical riding.
Frank Nitty Edit

It’s Aaron’s shoe and he needs something that can hold up to the riding he gets into. I decided it would be a good idea to give these a go for a few weeks and see how well they held up. So let’s take a peek…

Color – Joey and Matt Cordova
Dylan Pfohl has uploaded Joey Cordova and Matt Cordova’s section from the Color DVD. There’s plenty of dirt and cement in this section. Shred must run in the family’s blood.
If you are into this, you can still pick up copies here.
