After that crash it was pretty obvious that Daniel wasn’t going to be able to defend his gold medal and had to sit the rest of the contest out. Sometimes it’s just not your day. I am stoked to see what’s to come with the expanded global series they are starting in 2013 and hope to see BMX continue to be a huge part of what X Games is.
