When we posted up a link to Mick Bayzand’s Bike Check up on the Colony site, we had noticed that Mick had a new signature frame for 2015 called the Burma. We figured it would be a good idea to give you guys a closer look at this new frame! The Burma is a full 4130 chromoly frame with a heat-treated head tube, Mid bottom bracket and drop outs with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 8.75″ stand over height and 13.5″ chain stay length. The frame features gussets on the top and down tubes, a tapered top and down tube and rear stays, a wide rear end for 2.40″ tires, investment cast seat and chain stay gussets for extra strength, removable brake mounts with Colony’s Investment Cast removable brake tabs, a built-in seat post clamp and 5mm thick 14mm drop outs. The Burma frame is available in top tube lengths of 20.85″ and 21″ with colors of gloss black, Bloody black, chrome and a limited edition Rainbow color with a weight of 5.22 lbs. (20.85″).
