June 8, 2013

Products_template

After 60 of these columns, it’s getting a little tricky to come up with a unique intro for this. There’s a few things that remain the same after all this time though… It’s Saturday morning, I’m drinking coffee and, like all of you, I’m looking to get out and ride! So let’s get into this weeks round of Products: so we can take a closer look at a few fresh must have items and then get out and cruise. Ready? Alright!
This week we’re going to take a look the new softgoods from Cult, the Stream fork from Eclat, the new Shadow Conspiracy X Pro-Tec collaboration helmet, Profile Racing‘s 22MM Galaxy Spline Drive sprocket and the Orto bottom bracket from 34R. Let’s get into this!

Cult_New_Fucking_Shirts

Spring is finally fully here and before you know it summer will be scorching the northern hemisphere. Cult just released 10 new t-shirt and tank top designs along with 2 new hats for you to try on for a size. These shirts are designed by the one and only Adam Roye and go along with the classic Cult image that they’ve been doing since their inception a few years ago. You can take a closer look at the full range of shirts and tank tops by clicking here.

These shirts will be available on Dan’s Comp in the next few days. Otherwise you can pick them up direct from the Cult Webstore now. You can also get your hands on some of these goods by having your local shop here in the U.S get ahold of Tip Plus (West Coast), Greenhouse (Midwest) or Animal Bikes (East Coast).

The fork features a full CNC machined 170mm long steerer tube, spiral and single butted fork blades, a build in headset race, investment cast heat-treated 3/8″ drop outs with a 33mm offset and a 7075-T6 alloy top. The Stream fork comes in black, blue, white and chrome plated with a weight of 35.80 oz. (2.23 lbs).

You can pick up the Stream fork by having your local shop here in the U.S get ahold of Seattle Bike Supply.

Time for a new helmet but you don’t want to look like a dork? I feel you… Check out the new helmet The Shadow Conspiracy collaborated on with Pro-Tec. They took the classic and decked it out with some custom Shadow graphics and logos and added a custom adjustable chin strap for a rad look. Inside you can find the EPS foam lining that passes the CPSC certification for safety. You can also find 11 vent holes through out the shell for maximum air flow. The helmet comes in black only with small, medium, large and extra large for sizes.

You can pick this helmet up for $44.99 on Dan’s Comp or you can have your local shop get ahold of Sparky’s Distribution to get one ordered up today!

Profile-22mm-Galaxy-Spline-Drv-Sprkts_Whit_bg

Have you always wanted a spline drive sprocket but you have 22mm cranks? Well, Profile Racing figured with the release of their new 22mm cranks, they better head into the shop and whip some up. This sprocket that’s made right here in America is CNC machined from 7075 aluminum with a 3-spoke design that helps to save weight without sacrificing strength. The sprocket has offset 1/8″ teeth for improved chain alignment, chamfered edges and the 22mm, 48-spline chromoly spline drive insert that’s pressed in. The Galaxy weighs in at 2.8 oz. (25 tooth), comes in sizes of 25, 28 and 30 tooth options and black or polished for the color options.

You can pick the Galaxy sprocket up for $64.99 on Dan’s Comp or through the Profile Webstore. You can also have your local shop get ahold of Profile Racing to get you one ordered up today as well.
