Products: Vol. 64

Another week down and another Saturday. After a few days of getting loose from the 4th of July, blowing shit up and having some fun it’s time to get back to the regular schedule of taking a look at some dialed BMX parts! For this week’s Products:, we are taking a closer look at the Mini Cassette hub from Profile Racing, the Deathrow Bars from Cult, the Freed Bikes sprocket, the 43 Hardware chain breaker and the brand new 2014 Infantry complete bike from Volume Bikes! Since I know you’re trying to keep this party going for your 4th of July week, let’s get into this!

If you aren’t familiar with the Mini cassette hub from Profile Racing by now, you’re completely blowing it. This hub is made right here in America with an alloy hub shell that features staggered diameter flanges, 2-sealed bearings, a 14mm gun drilled hollow chromoly axle, alloy axle nuts and a 4-pawl 1-piece chromoly driver with 4-sealed bearings making for one hell of a smooth rolling hub. The hub is available in black, blue, flat black, green, polished, purple, red, white and limited edition colors with a weight of 16.6 oz.

A few weeks back, Profile also introduced the Build Your Own Hub option so that you can custom order this hub direct from any shop that carries them. This means you can replace that 14mm gun drilled hollow axle with a female aluminum center axle and your choice of 3/8″ axle bolts with Volcano washers, button head bolts or the 17mm hex bolts. You can find out more about the Build Your Own Hub program by Clicking Here.

You can pick the Mini Cassette hub up for $209.99 on Dan’s Comp or you can have your local shop hit up Profile Racing direct to get you one ordered up!

Let’s face it, working on your bike can be a pain in the ass. There’s nothing worse than breaking your chain in the middle of a good session. You have two options, you can take it to a shop and pay a guy to work on it for you or you can pick up this chain breaker from 43 Hardware that will ultimately pay for itself if you have to fix your chain 3 or 4 times. (I’m sure a lot of you reading this are trying to think of all the times you had to fix your chain, haha). This chain breaker is designed to work on 1/8″ and 3/16″ chains.

You can pick this chain breaker up for $19.99 on Sidewall Action Sports or have your local shop here in the U.S pick you up one by hitting up Sidewall Distribution.
